In a close second place to the Jim Shore collection is the Diane Phalen collection of quilt puzzles. Her unique style is rich and playful and comes form the popular puzzle manufacturer White Mountain.

We try at Wholesale Puzzles to regularly introduce new jigsaw puzzles to our selection, and find popular artists that our customers love to add to our collections. A Little About Jim Shore

Jim Shore enjoys a great deal of popularity for his American folk art. Jim was raised with a love for American folk art and it’s traditional images and values. The quilting theme found throughout his jigsaw puzzles stems from his grandmother, who was a master quilter. He began his career with a degree in business and engineering and used it to support his family, using his spare time to sharpen his skills as a sculptor and painter. Jim Shore is now best known for his Heartwood Creek line of decorative accessories and his Disney Traditions collection.

Heronim Puzzles
Occasionally, we like to highlight a select artist from one of our popular collections of artist jigsaw puzzles. Today we’ll be taking a look at Heronim (Harry Wysocki), the artist of the popular HomeTown puzzles series, well known folk art artist, and brother to the famous Charles Wysocki.
Short Heronim Life Sketch
Harry Wysocki was born in Detroit and later moved to Los Angeles, where he graduated from the Art Center College of Design. After the end of World War II, Harry enlisted in the Merchant Marines and sailed all over the world (now visible in many of his paintings). In Japan he was commissioned to paint the History of the Army Airborne Engineers, which he executed in a series of six murals. Working with Japanese artists, he was inspired by the art of Hiroshige, whose influence is apparent in his early works. After returning home from Japan, he started experimenting with art nouveau and art deco styles.
